Bonjour,

Joe went visiting with Romeo, and a couple boys in Joe’s class went with them too.  They went to visit a lady who is pregnant and is quite overdue.  They also visited the home of a famous Ivorian comedian; he was not home, but his wife was home.  She is friends with the lady that is overdue.   They got a lot of walking in this morning.

Gilbert was sad that he didn’t get to go with Daddy.  So, we invited the Litson girls to come over and play.  Gilbert and Danny both had fun with them.

We all took a nap this afternoon.  The heat really zaps our strength sometimes.

Sarah came over this afternoon to plan a party for the birthdays in March.  Margie Engelhart and Tammy Aurand both have a birthday in March as well as Gilbert.  All of the missionaries are going to try to get together.  We are trying to surprise Margie and Tammy, but I don’t know if it will work.  Gilbert will love it!  The party is supposed to be on his birthday.

Gilbert and I went for a walk with Margie and Sarah.  Danny was upset that he got left behind.  He doesn’t quite understand the concept of going for a walk yet.  He likes to walk, but he doesn’t keep moving.  He stops to play, and I end up carrying him.  So, I don’t always take him.

Gilbert had so much fun getting his hair cut last night that he wanted to do it again tonight.  We told him that he didn’t have any hair left to cut.  : )
