It is hard to believe that Bonnie is already almost four. We had her party a few days early since Daddy will be in Israel on Bonnie’s birthday.
An hour after Bonnie was born on June 12, 2008, she went into respiratory distress due to Wet Lung Syndrome. It was a very scary time for us. She was born in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, and the doctors were not telling us what the problem was. After five days in an incubator on oxygen and antibiotics, we got to hold our baby girl. She is a blessing to us. She is very independent and is always trying to teach someone or something. (She lines her toys up or the magnets on the refrigerator and teaches away.)
Time to open presents!
Nana and Papa sent a horse in a package. Bonnie loves it!
They also sent cowgirl clothes for her doll. Betsy was all decked out in her cowgirl clothes and ready to ride.
