Bonjour,

This morning, Joe went into town to get the gas bottles filled. Then,
he went to an electrician and had some work done on the vehicle.
Hopefully they fixed the problem this time. He brought some lunch home
with him.

The boys have been finding "gold" outside. Actually, it is just rocks.
Danny's bag got a hole in it; now, we have "gold" everywhere.

Around 10:30, the kids went to play with the Luther kids. They have
been riding bikes up there. Gilbert is excited that he can ride a
two-wheel bike. Danny took right off on it, but he usually rides one
with training wheels because that is what is available. Danny goes full
speed ahead; thankfully, he has discovered the brakes.

I worked on translating something into French for Becky this morning.

Missions With the Consfords

Ghana Field Journal — Serving the Lord for Over 25 Years

These daily journal entries document the Consfords’ missionary life across Ivory Coast and Ghana. Over 1,630 entries capture the church planting, the hard days, the answered prayers, and the everyday reality of following God wherever He leads. Browse the full archive or join the Consfords as a prayer partner.

After lunch, we went down for naps. Bonnie and Danny both went to
sleep. Bonnie only slept for thirty minutes and was awake again.

After naps, the kids went back to play with the Luthers. I spent the
evening in the kitchen.

Things in Ivory Coast have taken a turn. Gbagbo has regained control of
certain areas; his military is presently attacking the Golf Hotel where
Ouattara is.

Tomorrow morning we are going to Cape Coast. Joe is preaching at the
Wideners' church for their missions conference.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
