Bonjour,

The welder came this morning and worked all day.  He finished with the front porch.  Now, just the back porch is left.
Joe went visiting after he got the welder set up.  He said that he and Dan had some good visits.  They went to see a lady who has not been to church in awhile.  Then, they went to visit Dan's dad.  His dad is a devout Catholic and is unsaved; he visited the church about a month ago.
We started out with ten for Bible Club.  Just as we finished the story, more kids came.  So, I told the story again.  About halfway through the story the second time, another group of kids came, but I just kept going.  We ended up with twenty-seven by the end of the hour.
After naps, Joe played football with the kids while I made pizza for supper.  Gilbert said, "Dad carried us like a football and charged down the field with us."  They had fun and worked up an appetite.  After supper, the kids helped in the kitchen.  Bonnie cleared the table.  I washed the dishes; Danny rinsed, and Gilbert dried.
About 8:00 this evening the power went off.  There were no lights on all over town.  We broke out the glow sticks.  The kids think it is great to have their own light when the power goes off.  (Thank you for the glow sticks, Mrs, Lydia!) At 9:00, Joe fired up the generator so that the kids could go to bed.  At 10:30, the power came back on.  Hooray!
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
