Bonjour,
Gilbert woke up with the stomach bug this morning. Bonnie still has it too. So, we just kept all of the kids home this morning. Danny has a cold and was all out of sorts. It has been a looong day!
This morning, Bonnie said, "I'm struggling, Mom. I need a rest." Danny helped get her all situated on the couch and shared his little portable DVD player with her. He said, "I'm taking care of the sick people, Mom." Gilbert's stomach pain came and went throughout the day. They did not understand why they could not play outside. We told them that if you are sick, you just have to rest.
Joe went into town with Mack Siekbert this morning to run a couple errands. He was back home for lunch. Joe hasn't felt very well today either. I guess it is my turn to take care of the sick people. : )
Hooray for bed time!
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
