Bonjour,
Happy Valentines Day!
Joe went into town with Charlie this morning while we did school. The mechanic said that the other had had not come yet. He seems to think that we should be able to get our money back from the other guy.
The kids and I took a taxi into town and met Joe for lunch. Danny kept trying to talk to the taxi driver. He didn’t know what to call him; so, he decided to call him “Taxi.” I don’t think the man understood a word that Danny said, but he smiled anyway.
We met Joe at a Lebanese restaurant. We were going to get manaich (Lebanese pizza), but they only have that for breakfast. So, we had something different. I had a beef burger (otherwise known as a hamburger). Joe had a falafel sandwich, and the kids had chicken and fries. Then, we took a taxi to a restaurant which usually has icecream, but they were out today. So, we headed back home in another taxi.
After naps, we went up to the Luthers’ house to give them their Valentines. Joe had bought chocolate bars for all of the kids, and Charlie had bought a drink for all of them. So, they had those. Then, I headed home to make supper. Joe stayed to help Charlie work on his pump.
We had pizza for supper and then watched a movie.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
