Bonjour,
The Luthers gave us a ride to church this morning. Julie is still sick. Please pray for her. She has had a fever off and on since Wednesday. The Luthers have been such a blessing to us during all of our vehicle difficulties. We had never met them before we got here three weeks ago.
We had a good day at church. I went to the kids’ Sunday school class because one of the teachers wasn’t there; she got there late, but I went ahead and stayed. Then, I stayed in the auditorium for the church service. The kids went to junior church.
While I was getting lunch ready, Gilbert came in the door and said, “Come see something amazing out on the porch!” We went to look. There were piles of strange winged bugs in several places. Bonnie said, “Those are my favorite bugs.” We don’t have any idea what kind of bugs they were. Gilbert and Danny thought that they should kill them. Gilbert went to find the broom. Danny came in to get his shoes. He had a tennis shoe strapped on each hand. They hit one pile, and the chase was on. Gilbert said, “They are after us!” Gilbert came back inside where it was safe and let Danny take care of the rest. We had lunch, took naps, and then got ready to go back to church. The Luthers gave us a ride.
After supper, we watched a missionary film. The kids had lots of questions.
The pump and well are working nicely. Our tanks and the Luthers’ tanks are all full! We have so much water that we don’t know what to do with it all. : ) We can actually flush toilets and run fresh bath water. Brother Luther said that their top tank has never been that full before.
Joe has been talking to the guy who sold us the bad head. It is not sounding too promising about getting our money back, but we are going to keep pursuing it. He should find out more from the mechanic here tomorrow about the cost of a different head. Keep praying!
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
