Bonjour,
Joe took the kids to school this morning. Then, he went to get the welder. They worked all day on putting up horizontal bars on the existing vertical bars on the porch.
The kids had a good day at school. They are always full of energy when they get home from sitting still all day.
Danny did not have homework today. He said that his teacher told him it was a free day. Gilbert had some homework. He was working on it, and Bonnie bumped his arm. He told her that she should be ashamed for making him mess up on his paper. Bonnie said, "Well, you shouldn't say be ashamed to Danny's sister!"
We got ready for church this evening, but the guard never came. Joe called and had someone cover the service for him. We think that whoever tried to break in did it on Sunday when that guard was here. We are thinking now that he may have had something to do with it. Joe got a couple guys to go with him to look for the guard. They went to his house, and he was not there. When Joe got back home, the guard was sitting on the tire swing. He had been hiding in the bushes when they were out looking for him. He said he did not know anything about the break in. Joe sent him home and told him that if he came back, he would take him to the police. He will probably take some men with him tomorrow and go see him at his house to talk to him more.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
