Bonjour,

The kids went back to school today.  They were not too excited about getting up, but once they got going they were fine.  They had a good day at school.  Gilbert said that the power was off at school most of the day; they were all hot and sweaty when they got home.  The temperature is back in the 100s now.  It was 93 degrees in the kitchen this afternoon.
Joe spent the day getting estimates on horizontal bars for the porch, bars to go on the inside of all the windows and doors, and a dog.  The welder will start working on the horizontal bars tomorrow.  The vet is looking for a dog for us.
I worked on cleaning and laundry.
When the kids got home from school, Joe took them swimming while I worked on supper.  After supper, the boys did their homework.  Danny was discouraged because Gilbert only had a half page of homework and Danny had two pages.  Bonnie was bragging that she did not have any homework.
Danny fell asleep on the couch and was about to fall off.  So, he moved to the floor.  Bonnie thought that if she pretended she was asleep too that she could get out of brushing her teeth.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
