Bonjour,
This morning, Joe went into Abidjan to run errands. He did the bulk
shopping for the month. He went to the meat place and then to several
other stores. He got back about 15:30.
Joe also went to the phone company. Our phone line still hasn't been
replaced. They said that it should be back up and running tomorrow.

This morning, the children and I did some cleaning and read some books.
Gilbert wanted to read about Frog and Toad. Danny wanted to read "the
book about the giant" – a Bible story book which has the story of David
and Goliath in it. Bonnie played on the floor next to us while we read.
Everyone went down for a nap at different times today. Danny went down
first. The power went off, and that woke him up. Then, Gilbert went
down followed by Bonnie. Danny never did go back to sleep. After naps,
the children and I went over to see Margie for a little while. Bonnie
and I came back home to work on supper; the boys stayed a little longer.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
