Bonjour,
We had a good day at church. Lenell took us up to the Anyama church this morning. Romeo had a car lined up and ready to take us to Belleville. It wasn’t a taxi. Jacque, the church’s neighbor, has a vehicle. So, he drove us to church and just stayed for the services and then took us back after church.
There were 73 in attendance this morning. During Sunday School, Marcel taught Romeo’s class. Romeo taught the teens and adults. I had 10 in my class during Sunday school. By church time, I had 26 in my class. I didn’t take the car seat today because I didn’t know if there would be room in the vehicle. So, I put Bonnie in her pouch. We were both a bit warm by the end of the morning, but she slept most of the time. We even sang Father Abraham! I had my workout for the day.
Lenell let us stay at her apartment this afternoon. She made lunch for us. Then, we all took naps. She doesn’t have ceiling fans yet, and there wasn’t a breeze blowing today. She has an oscilating fan that Bonnie and I used. The boys were so tired that they didn’t even notice that they didn’t have a fan.
We stayed in Anyama for the evening service. After the service, they had a meeting about the school. The meeting lasted almost an hour. The boys played really hard during that hour. We rode home with Bob and Margie this evening. Lenell stayed at her apartment tonight. Gilbert’s legs were hurting so bad when we got home that he just wanted to go to bed. I gave him some Tylenol. When that kicked in, he decided that he wasn’t quite ready for bed.
We talked to Joe this evening. They had another busy day. They had a church service at the motel and then headed out to visit some museums. Joe is really having a good time.
Everyone is in bed for the moment; so, I am headed that way too.
A demain,
Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
