Bonjour,

This morning, we left the house a little after 8:00. Lenell and the Engelharts went with us. The Engelharts are looking for a vehicle, and Lenell wanted to get some ideas on how much she will need to save for a vehicle.

We first went downtown to the Royal Air Maroc office to check on Lenell’s missing bag. They told us that they couldn’t do anything and that we needed to go to the airport. We told them that the airport told us we needed to go to their office. After Lenell showed the man an itemized list and the cost to replace those items, the man said he would do some checking and get back with her. He also mentioned that she would need to get a certain form from the airport to fill that out.

>From there, we headed to the dentist. Gilbert’s top front teeth seem to be falling apart. The dentist was very nice. He said that he just has bad baby teeth. He said that the permanent teeth seem to be fine. He told us to clean his teeth with baking soda at night and not to let him drink anything after that. The dentist didn’t charge us anything.

Our next stop was the airport. While we were there, they let Lenell look through the luggage that they had. Joe was talking to one of the men in charge of the luggage. He knew what he was doing and found that her bag is in Casa Blanca with their lost baggage waiting to be claimed by someone. So, it should be sent on the next flight; hopefully the bag can be picked up tomorrow! We were beginning to think she would never see that bag again.

Then, we went to look at used vehicles. Bob found a couple possibilities. Lenell got a good idea of the prices of the different types of vehicles.

We went to a Lebanese restaurant for lunch. While we were eating, Dan Post and Pat Russell came in. Pat flew in when he heard about the death of Missionary Johnnie Todd in Ghana. Dan and Pat have been in Ghana for the past few days to help with different things. The two men that were killed with Brother Todd were the two men in the church that he had been training; so, there isn’t anyone to really oversee things right now.

The funeral for Brother Todd will be Thursday. The Posts are going to leave early Wednesday morning. So, between the Litsons, the Engelharts, and us, we are going to keep the Post boys for a few days beginning tomorrow evening. I think we are going to keep the two younest boys, Justin and Isaac. I’m sure that Gilbert will enjoy that!

After lunch, we looked at more vehicles after taking a scenic tour of Abidjan. Joe was looking for a place that he had looked at vehicles a long time ago. We ended up taking a big circle around Abidjan. At least we know where that road goes now! : )

We stopped at the bulk store. Then, Bob needed to stop at the bank. We had to go back downtown for one more stop. While Joe was checking on something, Bob treated us all to icecream. It was very good!

We got home around 5:00. The Litson girls were happy to see everyone. Gilbert stayed over there and played for awhile. Then, he took a walk with the girls. Sarah brought him back home when they got back from the walk.

The boys should sleep well tonight because neither one of them got much of a nap today.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny
