Bonjour,

We had a good day at church. The attendance was down but I believe it is due to vacation time.

Laura was all alone in the nursery with about ten children ranging from Danny’s age to almost 4 years old. She was looking a little run down by the end of Sunday School. Another lady helped her during church though and that worked a lot better.

We had Lenell over for lunch on her birthday. We had steak and taters! Gilbert likes it when people have a birthday because he can sing to them and then he knows that cake and ice cream follow the song!

Missions With the Consfords

Ghana Field Journal — Serving the Lord for Over 25 Years

These daily journal entries document the Consfords’ missionary life across Ivory Coast and Ghana. Over 1,630 entries capture the church planting, the hard days, the answered prayers, and the everyday reality of following God wherever He leads. Browse the full archive or join the Consfords as a prayer partner.

This evening church went well also. Pastor Ake was sick this evening as well as Bob so Romeo preached a good sermon. He preached on his burden to work with children.

Laura is very tired from all of the activities today. So, she has gone to bed early and the boys are in the living room “picking up toys!” I need to get in there and check on their progress! HA!!! HA!!!

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny
