Bonjour!
This morning, Joe and Nana took Danny to the postnatal clinic to get his shots. Joe was the only guy there. He said that he was getting some strange looks from all of the mothers there with their babies. One lady took Danny from him and wrapped him up tightly in his blanket. She gave Danny back to Joe and told him that was the way to do it. Danny was sweating up a storm! They ran a few other errands before they came home.
Gilbert went down for an early nap. He slept for a couple hours. I got some things ready to send back with Nana to mail. Then, I got our bag packed.

We left after lunch. We are staying at a resort in Cape Coast tonight. Joe and Gilbert swam this afternoon. There was no one else around. Gilbert was a little afraid at first, but he was starting to float by the time they were ready to get out. We ate supper at the restaurant. Now, we are watching CNN. We don’t usually get to see much news.
We will go on to Accra in the morning. We need to apply for Danny’s passport. The US Embassy will be closed on Friday due to Veterans’ Day. We hope to be able to get all of that taken care of tomorrow. Nana’s flight doesn’t leave until late Friday night. We will get some souvenir shopping in. We will also get to go to some of the bigger stores in Accra. That will be fun.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny
