We continue to see the Lord’s hand guiding every step of our deputation travels! Your prayers mean more than we can say, and this month has been another vivid reminder that God truly answers prayer — even in airport terminals.

We were able to be in the Missions Conference in Oklahoma City at Higher Plain Baptist Church. The conference was a big blessing, and we got to spend some quality time with Laura’s parents. We have great memories in OKC, and I am so thankful for the church family there.

Preserving the Legacy of Faithful Missionaries

The Missionary on Fire podcast features interviews with veteran missionaries, classic sermons from the field, and stories of God’s faithfulness across generations. If you love the heart behind these stories, you will love the podcast. New episodes regularly.

After a wonderful week at the Missions Conference in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Pastor Brent Lenentine graciously drove me to the Albuquerque airport. The fellowship along the way was refreshing, and we enjoyed sharing stories of God’s work in the field and at home. I arrived early, worried about long TSA lines because of the government shutdown, but the process went smoothly — a small mercy that set the tone for the day.

Then came the test. A series of flight delays left me with just fifteen minutes to run from one side of the Dallas airport to the other. I prayed, asking the Lord to help me make my connection. As I sprinted across terminals, the gate agent was just about to close the door when she looked up and said, “Mr. Consford, it’s your lucky day — the flight’s been delayed!” I made it aboard with a grateful heart, reminded again that what the world calls “luck,” we call the providence of God.

When I landed in Illinois for the next missions conference, I was welcomed by faithful friends and enjoyed a weekend filled with fellowship, encouragement, and worship. Every detail — even the delays — became a testimony of God’s care and timing.

Please continue praying for health, travel safety, and the remaining support we need to return to Ghana soon.
