Half Way Done

I am now a little over half way done with my time in Africa. It is all downhill from here, hopefully. When the Ruckmans get back, we will start Bible Institute again. After Bible Institute is out, I will have about a month before going back to the U.S.

I had a pretty normal day today. I woke up, made breakfast, then did some cleaning around the house. I swept, mopped, and did a basic cleaning of the downstairs rooms. After cleaning, I went up to my room to start work on my sermon for Wednesday night. I did not get much done, but I was able to get a basic outline.

After a pretty normal day, I went over to the Kenney’s house for supper. We had a delicious meal. After we ate, we tried to get a movie going but could not. So instead of watching a movie, we played a game. I won, finally. After the game, we loaded up, and Bro. Kenney drove me back to the house.

Once I got home, I locked up and headed up to my room for the night. I am currently on the phone with my mom and siblings while I am typing the blog. Once I am done, I am off to get cleaned up and head to bed for the night.

  1. Glad you had a great day! Hopefully you are feeling better! The weather right now is beautiful! It is supposed to freeze again next month. I am surprised that you have reached your halfway mark. Love you and still praying.

  2. Hey sweetheart, your cousin Jessie had to have an early C-section today. They said that all went well & you will have another little boy to hold when you get home. He is starting out at 4lb & 6oz & that is 8 oz lighter than Levi was. 😳😳

  3. I know it doesn’t seem like it on your end, but the time is flying. We’re getting finished up with the rest of our chocolate peddling. I know you miss that! So glad you’re better after your cruddy sickness. The flu has gone through this place like wildfire. Bradley and Benjamin both missed an entire week of school and had fever for days. Sounds like you’re doing just fine on your own. It’s a good experience. 😊
