Bonjour,
This morning, Joe, Max, and Romeo went into town to trade money. The
boys were not too thrilled about doing school. They wanted to play with
Romeo. It is funny because Romeo only speaks French, but the kids just
love to be around him even though they don't understand a thing that he
is saying. Romeo has tried to teach them a couple sentences. To say "I
want…" the sentence starts with "Je veux." Danny keeps saying, "Je vur."
We had leftover pizza for lunch. Then, everyone took a nap. Max and
Romeo have not slept much in the past week. They had to walk two hours
through the bush to get out of Anyama on Monday.
We had chicken and rice for supper and then went to church at Mt.
Calvary Baptist Church. On the way to church, Bonnie and the boys were
sitting in the back of the vehicle. I heard Bonnie say, "Plug your
noses everyone. Gilbert, you didn't plug your nose." Then, a minute
later, we passed a roadside bar. Bonnie said, "That's bad music, Mom!"

Gilbert had an allergic reaction to something this afternoon. He had
taken Benadryl right before supper. He fell asleep in church. His
hives were gone though.
Max was going to travel back to Ivory Coast tomorrow to help another
national pastor get out, but Daniel decided that he isn't ready to come
out yet. So, Joe will get the rest of the money out of the bank in the
morning to send with Max and Romeo. Then, Max and Romeo will go north
in Ghana and then cross back over into Ivory Coast up where Max's
family, the orphans, and Romeo's fiancee are. Please pray for their
safety as they travel. Continue to pray for the Ivory Coast as well.
Gbagbo is in a bunker with some military; most of his military has gone
over to the other side.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
