Bonjour,

Joe went back to the mechanic shop this morning.  They were able to go the machine shop across the street and manufacture the freeze plugs.  Joe drove our vehicle home around 5:00 this evening.  The head seems to be working well.  There is still a timing issue, but at least the vehicle is running!!!  It has been down for six weeks.  Bonnie said, “Look at our new car, Mom!”  Joe told the boys that we could ride to church in our own car tomorrow.  They said, “Oh, ours doesn’t have cool air.”  That’s the next project.  : )

They changed Bible club to Sunday afternoon because they moved soul winning to Saturdays.  So, the kids played outside most of the day.  They had a picnic on the trail this afternoon.  They came to get some snacks that they could eat on their trail.

I did a couple loads of laundry.  Other than that, I spent most of the day in the kitchen.  We are having Becky and Kristine over for lunch tomorrow.  So, I was trying to get as much done ahead of time as I could so that we won’t have to wait too long to eat after church.

After supper, Joe made kettle corn.  Yummy!!  The kids didn’t know what to think of it, but Joe and I enjoyed it.

This evening, we called our parents.  Today is Joe’s dad’s birthday.  It is also Joe’s parents’ anniversary and his grandparents’ anniversary.  So, we got all of our good wishes in.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
