W'apow mu e,
Janet, my helper who comes two mornings a week, cannot read. I am going to attempt to teach her to read. We started with the vowels today. We worked on that for an hour before she did her work around the house.
Joe and I ate lunch a little early and then headed into town to get a few things. The plumber has finished one of the bathrooms at the church and should finish the other one tomorrow. We needed to get some buckets, trash cans, toilet paper holders, etc. The water is usually off at the church. So, we needed some containers that can hold water for washing hands and flushing toilets. We got all of that. We stopped at the post office but did not have anything today. Then, we stopped to get the AC in the car charged up; that made a big difference. We took everything that we bought to the church. Then, we headed to the school to pick the kids up.
The kids all had stories to tell on the way home. There are six other children that ride home with us. Everyone was trying to talk at the same time. It was quite a lively ride.

The kids played outside until supper was ready. I made meat pies. Joe fried those for me while I finished up an apple pie for dessert.
Bonnie had a book on the couch and was teaching her imaginary students from it. She was really into her teaching. Joe and I both got tickled watching her. Danny and Bonnie both fell asleep in a chair before bed time. Gilbert was trying to figure out a way to get to sleep on the floor in our bedroom. We don't let anyone sleep on the floor at night because of scorpions.
Nantsew yie!
