Bonjour,
We had a good day at church. We had to combine classes this morning because the bamboo poles that hold the tarp up for the middle-aged children’s class were destroyed. Either some kids tore them up, or they rotted. So, we had all of the children in the bamboo structure. All of the adults and teens were in the church building.
We didn’t have as many children today. There were 33 with both children’s classes combined. School starts tomorrow after the Easter Break; I guess some children were enjoying their last day at home.
A lady in the church had a baby on Friday. Her baby was overdue, but she didn’t have any complications. She had the baby Friday morning, took public transportation back to her neighborhood that afternoon, and walked home with the baby boy. All of the ladies went to see her after church this morning. Joe took the boys and the Litson girls on home. I went with Sarah and the other ladies to see the new baby.
When the Litson girls left to go home, Danny stood by the door saying, “Meganne!” I guess he didn’t want her to leave.
Joe preached at the Anyama church this evening. There were two ladies and two men that got baptized. One of the ladies who got saved lives in our neighborhood. Her husband is Muslim. Their two-year-old son died recently. The other lady and one of the men that got baptized were a husband and wife. The lady has been coming for quite awhile, and her husband just recently got saved. The other man got saved last year.
Tonight, I gave Danny a cookie to eat. He sat down and bowed his head for a minute; then, he ate his cookie.
