Bonjour,

This morning, Joe, Bob, Jimmy, and Lenell went to the port to check on the container progress and to show them that Lenell is here now.  The only thing they are waiting on now is payment.  Joe will go and pay for it tomorrow; then, it should be delivered within the next couple days.

The boys all went over to the Litsons’ house to play for awhile this morning.  When I went home to get lunch ready, Danny wanted to stay and play at Margie’s house.  He likes her box of toys.  Gilbert decided to stay with Margie too.

Everyone got back just in time for lunch.  After lunch, Gilbert, Danny, and Justin went down for a nap.  The other boys came over here after lunch too.  Lenell volunteered to watch the boys for a little while so that Joe and I could go visit Nathan in the hospital.

Nathan didn’t sleep well last night because of the pain.  He was just waking up from a nap when we got there.  He was a little disoriented at first, but he was talking and laughing by the time that we left.  He has to stay in the hospital a couple more days because he has a tube in his leg that is draining the wound.  They should remove the tube tomorrow.

The doctor said that the surgery went well.  The x-rays showed that everything is straight and as it should be.  After the incisions from the surgery heal, they will put his leg back in a cast.

We got stopped by the police on the way home.  After he pulled us over, he looked at me and asked me if I was pregnant.  I told him that I am.  He then demanded to see our car papers and walked away.  Joe got out of the vehicle and followed him.  He said that he had stopped us because I was wearing my seatbelt; he didn’t think a pregnant lady should be wearing a seatbelt.  He was actually just hoping to get a little money.  He tried to tell Joe that his driver’s license wasn’t valid.  After he realized that he wasn’t going to get anything, he gave Joe the papers back, and we went on our way.  The other day, Matt got stopped for running a green light!!

When we got home, it was time for our walk.  All of the kids decided to stay and play at the Litsons’ house.  So, it was just Margie, Sarah, Lenell, and I that went on the walk today.

After supper, Sarah and the girls came over.  Lenell cut Allison’s hair.  Then, she gave me a haircut too.

Danny went to bed early.  Playing with all of these boys wears him out. Gilbert is still going strong at the moment.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny
