Bonjour,
Joe had a WAWA day (West Africa Wins Again). The vehicle barely made it to the mechanic. Then, the taxi that he got in to go back to the church broke down on the way there. He and Dan walked for quite a while until they found another taxi. When they got to the church, they turned the AC on in the library. The air conditioner caught on fire. Then, when Joe opened his drink, it exploded all over. The mechanic called and said that he was almost finished with the vehicle. Joe took another taxi back into town to be told that they would not be finished with the vehicle until later this afternoon. That taxi also broke down. When he found another taxi to take him home, he told that driver that if his taxi broke down that he was just going to go home, go to bed, and start over. The vehicle has a leak in one of the fuel lines. They are also replacing the timing belt. They still were not finished with it this afternoon. So, Joe will go into town in the morning to get the vehicle, if all goes well.
The kids swam for a little while this morning. I worked in the boy's bedroom most of the morning trying to get things unpacked and put away.
After naps, Bonnie helped me make pizza for supper. Joe played catch outside with the boys.
After supper, we finished getting things put away in the boys' room. Then, I folded laundry and had the kids put their piles away. We played a game of Cadoo. The boys had assured us that they were not going to cry if they did not win. Bonnie and I won this time. The boys claimed that we cheated. Danny didn't cry until he got back to his bedroom. He said that he wasn't crying because he lost; he was crying because we cheated. Oh dear!!
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
