Bonjour!
This morning, I taught my English class. We spent the whole class period
reviewing. The students asked a lot of questions, and I think they
understand a little better now than they did.
Joe moved his Monday evening class to Mondays at 10:30. Brother Davis was
teaching a class at that time. He finished his class before he went back to
the States. So, we teach back to back classes on Monday and Tuesday now. It
is a tag team. I teach while Joe watches the boys; then, I watch the boys
while Joe teaches.
This afternoon, Joe helped me finish getting my literature stories for this

This evening, the power went off. We thought it might be a power-off night.
We haven’t had one in awhile. Someone said that they weren’t doing the load
shedding during the month of March because of Ghana’s 50th birthday. Joe
headed outside with the flashlight to start the generator. Gilbert followed
him to the door. I was in the living room. I heard Gilbert fall, and he
started crying. I got up to go find him, and I stepped on a toy with both
feet. I fell down too. Just as Gilbert and I found each other, the power
came back on. It wasn’t a power-off night after all!
