Bonjour,

Joe went to Takoradi with Charlie this morning.  They checked on our vehicle.  Progress is being made; they were actually putting it back together.  Maybe they will be finished tomorrow.

They also went to the post office.  We had a package.  The man said that he had just put the package slip in the post office box ten minutes before Joe came to get the package.  Perfect timing!  That is the first mail we have received since we arrived in Africa in November.  The kids were so excited when Daddy came home with a package.

We did school this morning.  We had already eaten lunch when Joe got home.  The package had hot chocolate in it.  Several of the packets had sprung a leak; so, everything was chocolate coated.  Danny wanted to have some hot chocolate right away, but he didn’t want hot water.  He and Bonnie dove right into the marshmallows.  Gilbert was excited about the hot wheels cars.

Joe did some more work on the valves and water lines coming from the well.  The kids went out to “help” him after naps.

When they came in, I was wiping the chocolate off of things that were in the package.  Gilbert and Danny took over on that detail for me.  They said, “We’re good helpers, Mom.  Look at us working, Bonnie.”

After supper, Brother Luther picked us up for church.  Julie has been sick today with a fever and headache; so, she stayed home this evening.

When church was over, we were just walking out the door.  From the top step, Danny dove into the grass.  He had spotted a toad and was determined to catch it.  He caught it, but he scared us diving off of the step like that.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
