W'apow mu e,
When I got up this morning, Gilbert was already up. He said that he had been up for a while. We usually have to wake him up at breakfast time.
I got lunches packed and breakfast made. We had breakfast and got everyone ready for school. Joe took the kids to school and then went to the pastor's conference.
After breakfast, I did not feel well. I had a sharp pain that was very persistent. Then, I started throwing up. I felt like I might pass out. So, I called Joe, and he came home. I was able to keep some pain medicine down and went to sleep. We think maybe it is a kidney stone. The pain is gone for now. I started feeling better this afternoon.

Joe picked the kids up from school. Then, they visited with the group that is here from Rock of Ages Prison Ministry. Brother Nixon, a Ghanaian who works with Rock of Ages, lives in the house down the hill now, the house where we lived before we moved here. The kids came home to change their clothes; then, they went back down the hill to play with the Nixon boys. The Nixons invited our family for supper; they were feeding the group of ten men as well. Joe and the kids came and got me, and we went back down for supper. We had a beef stew over rice. It was good. We enjoyed the fellowship.
Just after we got back home, the power went off for load shedding. The hotel where the group is staying has a generator so they weren't worried when we told them that the power would be off for a few hours tonight.
