Bonjour,

The work continued on the house today.  Two guys worked on the painting while Joe worked on replacing screens.
When the kids got home from school, I walked up to the other house with them to check on the progress.  It is coming along.  We should be able to move in up there next week.
The carpenter came about 4:00 to finish up a few little jobs.  It took him longer than he thought it would.  Joe was up there until almost 8:00.  Martin was with him.  He took Martin to the junction.  When he came back, a big truck full of cement had turned onto our road and broke down.  Joe had to find a way to get around them to get home.
Bonnie is still battling her cold.  Her nose just won't stop running.  Her teacher said that she used all the Kleenex to be found today.  I sent a little pack of Kleenex with her, and she used them all.
Gilbert will turn seven on Sunday.  I was asking him what he wanted for his birthday meals.  He said that he wanted biscuits and gravy for breakfast; a sandwich with ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise for lunch (otherwise known as a hamburger); and spaghetti for supper.  He is going to take cupcakes to school on Friday.  He wants chocolate cake with blue frosting and sprinkles on top of that.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
