Bonjour,

Joe took the kids to school.  He brought the mason back to continue the work on the house.  Joe was going to take me into town, but he found out that the carpenter was ready to come and do some repairs today too.  Joe needed to stay to oversee all of that.  So, he called a taxi to come and get me.
The taxi dropped me off at the market circle.  I was looking for fabric for curtains.  I got enough fabric to keep me busy for a while.  I am going to start with the bedroom curtains so that at least those windows will be covered when we move in.  Going to market circle is always an adventure.  I even ventured inside the circle which is a maze of many different little stands.  As I walked along, I was passed by a man carrying two freshly killed sheep.  There were several stands selling fish right in the middle of the fabric section.  There was one stand with used winter coats; I don't think they get much business here!  : )  I found some school shoes for the boys.  I stopped at a store where we get boxed chocolate milk for the kids' lunches; then, I set out for the grocery store where I was supposed to meet the taxi.  That chocolate milk got a little heavy, but I made it.  I got a few things at the grocery store.  The taxi came.  I stopped at one other to store to look for shower curtains; they actually had some.  It is rare to find everything that I am looking for on a trip into town!  : )
Joe brought the kids home.  They were excited about the work being done on the house.
Danny came in crying with blood coming from his mouth.  Once he settled down, he said that Gilbert ran into him and didn't even say he was sorry.  I went to find Gilbert to see what happened.  He had a big bump on his head.  The boys were being chased by Bonnie.  So, they both took off in opposite directions around the car.  They were both looking over their shoulders to see if Bonnie was coming, and they hit each other head on.  Gilbert's head hit Danny's mouth.  It knocked a couple of Danny's teeth loose.  He had to chew with his side teeth for supper, but they both seem to be okay.
We went to the Lebanese restaurant for supper.  On the way there, Gilbert said out of the blue, "Mom, I don't like to use the bathroom at other people's house because someone might come in the door."  Then, he proceeded to think out loud of different bathroom scenarios.  Joe said, "Could we please talk about something else?"  Bonnie said, "Let's talk about God."
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
