Bonjour!

This is Joe!  I always like to put a disclaimer right up front so that you don't think that my bad grammar and spelling have rubbed off on Lo!  (Why doesn't she put a disclaimer and explain why my good East Texas grammar has not rubbed off on her?)
We had a busy day today!  Lo wanted to help Jackie Siekbert cook for the group that is here visiting from the Siekbert's church.  So, she rode with me when I took the kids to school.  We leave the house at 06:45.  I dropped her off at the entrance to their neighborhood and she walked the rest of the way there.
I dropped the kids off and then went to the bank and the mechanics to get the car worked on.  Our old mechanic got himself fired this week for sabotaging my car so that he could work on it and sell me some parts.  WRONG!  I guess we will just have to pray for that guy!  He messed with God's car!
Lo called and told me that Friday is a holiday and everything will be closed.  Well, that just robbed me of one day of preperations for my upcomming trip to Ivory Coast on Monday.  I had to get the car papers done so that I can cross the border into Ivory Coast with a car that has Ghana plates.  I have never done that before and I was not sure how to get the papers.  Well, I had a crash course today.  I got to the office at 09:30 and I finished at 14:45.  (The same time I am supposed to pick the kids up from school.)  I called Dan at school and told him that I would be about 10 minutes late.  I was only 8 minutes late!
I picked Lo up from the Siekbert's on the way home.  She had a good time helping Jackie!
I got home and realized that if I did not go and get some pre-paid units for our electric meter then our power would get cut in the middle of the night.  So, I went to the office and the office that sells electric units had forgot to get their own pre-paid units and their power was off.  So, no power, no computer to sell the units.  I had to go to the other side of town to get some units.  With traffic, I got back at 18:00 just in time to eat some supper, and run off to church.
We had a good group of people at church this evening.  The electricity was off at the the church so we had a candle light service.  Some people who have not been coming to the evening services showed up tonight.  That was a blessing!
Lo got a little hot today and so she went to bed right after church.  The kids were all very tired today as well.  Me, I am feeling much better!  Thank you for all of your prayers for me.
Have a great day!
A demain! In Ghana we say, Nantsew yie!  (Walk well!)
