Bonjour,
This morning, we took the boys over to the Engelharts’ house. I had to go into Abidjan for blood work. It takes three days to get the results. I have a doctor’s appointment on Friday. So, we went today so that I can get the results when I go to see the doctor.
Then, we dropped off some more paperwork for the container. They have everything that they need now except for one form. We have tried to get that form, but it still wasn’t the right thing. So, they said that they will call the expediters in the States themselves to explain what is needed.
Joe dropped me off at the house and headed to Anyama to get the oil changed and have some more work done on the radiator. They discovered that the bottom of the radiator had rotted out; so, they rebuilt that today.
The boys had fun at Margie’s house. Gilbert wasn’t ready to go home because he was still chasing frogs. I had to go see the big frog that he had cornered. He wanted the frog to move, but he didn’t want to touch it. He had a stick that he was holding. He would get right up next to the frog with the stick but still wouldn’t touch the frog, even with the stick. Danny took the stick to kill some ants. If Gilbert wasn’t going to use the stick, Danny was going to put it to good use.
Joe left the vehicle in town and came home for lunch. Everyone attempted to take a nap until we started having problems with our electricity. The breaker box outside had gone bad and had to be replaced. Matt gave Joe a ride into town to get a new breaker box. Joe brought it home and installed it. The power is now working like it should. That is a blessing!
It rained all afternoon. After it cleared up a little, Sarah and I went for a walk. I didn’t take the boys today since it was so muddy out. They played baseball with Daddy while I was gone.
We had pizza for supper. Danny was really hungry. He kept coming to sample the toppings and even tried to grab an unbaked pizza off of the counter. He was so happy when it was time to eat!
Tomorrow, Joe will be going to Bonoua. He has letters of introduction and a Bible for the boss in ten different major offices. We are all going to ride to Bassam with him. We will spend some time with the Posts while Joe and Dan go on to Bonoua. Please pray that they will be well received in Bonoua. This is the groundwork for eventually starting a church there. We will start out with a Bible study and then work on getting a church established after we return from our furlough.

We just heard tonight that Nathan Post broke his leg today. He broke it in two places. He was playing soccer. The doctor was able to set the bones. Please pray for Nathan’s recovery.
A demain,
