Bonjour,

Thank you to everyone who sent anniversary greetings to us.  We have had a good eleventh anniversary.
This morning, I rode with Joe to take the kids to school.  Then, we went to Planter's Lodge for breakfast.  It is a hotel that has a breakfast buffet.  We enjoyed it.
We went to the post office and had a package slip.  The package people were not at work yet.  So, we went to the Coke depot to get our crates filled.  Then, we went back to the post office and got our package.
From there, we went to Melcoms, a store with a wide variety of things.  I found some bags of American brand name clothes.  I dug through the bags and found a couple things that were my size.  There were some Christmas decorations out in front of the store.  All of our Christmas stuff is still in Ivory Coast.  We found a tree in the garage.  Joe let me get some ornaments for an anniversary gift.
I walked around the market circle to take some material to a tailor to have shirts made for Joe and the boys for Christmas.  Then, I stopped at the candy lady's shop to get some candy for church.  As I was walking toward the grocery store to meet Joe, the market patrol must have been busy.  Suddenly, a group of ladies put their bowls of things that they were selling on their heads and took off running.  They sit around the circle without paying for a spot in the market.  Then, the police come and chase them off every once in a while. I walked on the opposite side of the road so that I would not get trampled.  : )
I met Joe back at the grocery store.  I did my grocery shopping while he talked to one of the shop owners.
Then, we headed to school to get the kids.  They got their report cards today since it was the end of the first trimester.  They all passed.  They are doing well in most subjects.  Danny is strong in Math, and Gilbert is strong in Phonics and Science.  Bonnie got a report card too; her lowest score was in Creative Activities because she tries to do things on her own instead of the way the teacher says to do it.
None of the children went to sleep at nap time.  But, Danny and Bonnie both fell asleep later in the afternoon.  Danny fell asleep doing a puzzle on the floor.  Bonnie fell asleep at supper time.  The boys wanted to do a project after supper.  They finger painted boxes for a manger scene.  Danny's was more like hand and arm painting than finger painting.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
