W'apow mu e,

The kids went back to school today.  Everyone seems to be feeling better.

Joe and I went into town this morning.  I needed to get a yellow fever shot.  We stopped at the port clinic, and they told us where we needed to go to get that shot.  It did not take long at all.  It only cost 5 cedis for the shot, which is about $3.00.

We also had a package at the post office.  They are now charging a 40% import tax on the value of every package received.  Joe said that was fine but that they would need to give us a receipt.  They were not too happy about doing the receipt because they can't keep any money for themselves that way.

Missions With the Consfords

Ghana Field Journal — Serving the Lord for Over 25 Years

These daily journal entries document the Consfords’ missionary life across Ivory Coast and Ghana. Over 1,630 entries capture the church planting, the hard days, the answered prayers, and the everyday reality of following God wherever He leads. Browse the full archive or join the Consfords as a prayer partner.

We also found a better internet provider.  It seems to be a much faster connection speed than we had before.

The power went off about twenty minutes before church started tonight – load shedding.  The power is off at the house too.  Hopefully it will come back on soon.

Nantsew yie!
