Bonjour,

Joe took the kids to school.  Then, he went up to the church to continue the work on the ceiling.  They are almost halfway done with the auditorium now.
I did some work around the house.  The third phase came back on this morning.  I was able to get the laundry caught up.
When Joe went to get the kids from school, they told him that school is cancelled for the rest of the week due to water shortage.  We did not know that there was a water shortage in town because the well has been keeping up just fine.  With all the rain that we had, it is hard to believe that there is a water shortage.  Maybe a pump to one of the wells is broken.  People can usually have water trucked in, but even the trucks cannot get water right now.
I took the kids swimming, and Joe went back to the church.  The boys helped me make supper.  Gilbert stirred the meat and potatoes.  He told Joe, "Dad, I cooked them until they were done."  Danny handed me the tortilla balls.  Then, Gilbert buttered the tortillas for quesadillas while I fried them. Bonnie set the table.  After supper, Gilbert washed the dishes; Danny rinsed, and I dried and put away.  Gilbert had a few rejects, but he did pretty good.  I told him that something wasn't clean.  He said, "Well, I'm trying to see that swamp show that Dad is watching."  Joe told him that he would wait for him so that Gilbert could concentrate on washing the dishes.  After supper, both boys read for a little while.  Bonnie was hunting a particular book to read too.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
