Bonjour,
Joe took the kids to school this morning. We were going to go into town this morning, but one of the men in the church called and said that he would be here at 10:30. We waited around until after lunch. Then, Joe went on into town to run some errands before he picked the kids up. When Joe brought the kids home at 3:30, the man finally came.
I did some cleaning and laundry. I got busy making cookies this afternoon and didn't get supper started until late.
Gilbert was the first one up the steps to inform me that Danny had to go to the principal's office today. He didn't follow the instructions that the teacher had given about how to do a paper. Danny said he thought he did follow the instructions. So, he either wasn't paying attention or didn't understand the instructions. The principal told him that if he didn't understand, that next time he should tell the teacher that he doesn't understand. Danny said, "I thought I understood."
Joe took the kids swimming after he finished talking to the man from the church. I made no-bake cookies and oatmeal cookies. Gilbert can't eat the no-bakes since they have peanut butter in them. I usually don't make things with peanut butter at all, but they sounded so good. So, I made oatmeal cookies too so that Gilbert would not feel left out.
After supper, we watched Tangled. Bonnie was sitting in my lap pretending that she was at school. It is hard to keep a straight face when she talks in her Ghanaian voice.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
