Bonjour,
We had a big blessing this morning. We got an e-mail telling us that a church is going to buy the new head for our vehicle!
Before school, the kids were outside playing. They found the bird. It had fallen from the porch and was dead. Danny cried and cried. Bonnie cried a little too. Gilbert threw it into the bushes. Bonnie was upset that they didn’t give the bird a proper burial. Danny was too upset to watch the disposal process.
After everyone had gotten over the bird, we did school. Joe rode into Takoradi with Charlie to run some errands. The kids went to play with the Luther kids after school. I put the laundry out on the line.
This afternoon, the kids and I took a nap. After naps, the kids went back out to play. Joe keeps the pump going rotating water between the Luther’s tank and our tank. He pumps for ten minutes. Then, it takes about two hours for the well to fill back up again so that he can pump again.
I baked a chicken for supper. I made some brownies for dessert; Danny is always thrilled with brownies. After supper, we watched Indiana Jones. At the end, Joe said that they were riding off into the sunset. Gilbert said, “Does that mean it took them all morning to get the job done?”
Please continue to pray for the situation in Ivory Coast. Things seem to be getting worse there. Many of the banks have closed.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
