Bonjour,

When I was working on fixing the kids' lunches and getting breakfast ready this morning, I discovered that the deep freezer did not get plugged back in yesterday after all of the power spikes and outages.  The freezer had defrosted, but most of the food was still frozen.  Joe finished up the kids lunches and helped the kids with breakfast while I worked on the freezer.
About an hour after Joe took the kids to school, the principal called to ask about Bonnie's snack.  We looked around, and her lunch bag was on the floor in the living room.  The kids were helping Dad put the lunch bags in the backpacks, and Bonnie's got left behind.  So, Joe took Bonnie's lunch to school.  Gilbert said that he had to take some water up to Bonnie before her lunch bag came.  He said that Bonnie was crying.  Bonnie insisted that she wasn't crying.  Gilbert said, "Well, she was wiping the tears away."
Other than the missing lunch bag, the kids had a good day at school.  I worked on getting caught up on the laundry after not having power for the past couple days.
After school, Joe took the kids swimming.  Danny got banged up trying to jump into the pool when he wasn't close enough to the edge.
After supper, I said, "Who will help me eat the supper?  Who will help me wash the dishes?"  Danny said, "'I' said the dog."  He jumped up in a chair and started rinsing for me.  We enlisted Gilbert's help too.  Bonnie cleared the table for us.
We watched Monk after the dishes.  Danny fell asleep on the couch with his legs dangling over the edge.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
