Bonjour,

Happy Thanksgiving!
We had a good day.  The power was off quite a bit today, but it is back on for the moment.  We thought that the high voltage had zapped the air conditioner in the kids' room, but it seems to be working fine today.
I worked in the kitchen all morning.  Joe helped me out.  We got everything done except the dishes before the company arrived.
The Siekberts and the Morgans came.  The food was delicious.  We had a good time of fellowship.  The kids had fun playing together.
The company left about 3:30.  Joe took the kids swimming, and I rested for a little while.  I am quite sore from my fall last night.
The kids were hungry for supper.  I got some leftovers out for them.  Joe and I just had a piece of pie.
Gilbert was the only one with homework.  Just as we were getting ready to do it, the power went off.  We were waiting to see if it would come back on before starting the generator.  So, Gilbert did his homework by flashlight.  The kids all had glow sticks too.
Danny and Gilbert both fell asleep on the couch.  Bonnie was asleep not long after she hit the pillow.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
