Bonjour!

There was a work day at the church in Sekondi today. Awhile back, they had

done some painting; but, they had never done the second coat. They got all

of the painting finished today. Quite a few people showed up to help.

I did laundry while the boys played. If Danny is down on the floor, Gilbert

likes to lie right next to him.

Bonjour!

There was a sunrise service at 6:00 this morning at Mt. Calvary. Then, we

had our regular evening service in Sekondi. There were 26 in attendance

tonight. We had quite a few adults there this evening. It was a blessing

to see some of the ones that we have visited regularly in attendance.

Tomorrow is also a holiday here, Easter Monday. Joe had asked the teenagers

to come help clean at the Siekberts’ house on Monday. They told him that it

was a holiday. He told them that we would have something special if they

would come. They decided that they would come for pizza. After church this

evening, we worked on getting things ready. Joe made a double batch of

pizza dough while I cut up all of the toppings.

We were supposed to have institute classes this morning. But because of the

holiday, half of the students did not come. So, we cancelled class for the

day.

I made pizzas all morning while Joe and Gilbert kept everyone busy at the

Siekberts’ house. Joe came and got the pizzas, and I put the boys down for

a nap. After their naps, we walked over to the Siekberts’ house. I made

the beds while Gilbert played with those who had been working. They took

turns holding Danny.

Bonjour!

We both taught our classes this morning. For some reason, there were still

some students missing.

After classes, Joe headed into town with Prince, Martin, and Kendall to run

a few errands. I put the boys down for a nap.

Joe and Prince will leave in the morning to go to Accra. They will meet the

Siekberts at the airport on Thursday morning. The Siekberts have some

shopping to do after they arrive; they plan to return on Friday morning. So,

you won’t hear from us until Friday or Saturday. The computer man is

supposed to come again on Friday evening. Please pray that he can get

everything up and running on our computer so that we can e-mail from home

again.
