Bonjour,
We had a good morning at church. There was a memorial service of sorts during the morning service for Grace Akon. She died a couple months ago, but her brother was out of the country when she died. The whole family, about twenty in all, came to church this morning.
There were twenty-two in my class this morning. They did better than normal today.
My leg is swollen from a bite. I was ready to sit down by the time church was over. If I keep my leg elevated, the swelling goes down. As soon as I stand up on it, it is right back again. I stayed home tonight and kept my leg propped up. We are wondering if it is a different kind of bite than a mosquito bite because it does not seem to be responding to the allergy medicine this time. I tried a different kind of medicine just a little while ago; maybe it will help.
Joe said that church went well tonight. There weren't many there, but they had a good service.
We were going to leave for Ivory Coast in the morning. We decided to leave later in the day, spend the night at a hotel, and cross the border on Tuesday morning. Please pray for our safety as we travel.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
