Try-to-Get-Better Day

This morning, I woke up at 8:00 A.M. I read my Bible, and slowly got ready for the day. I had zero plans for the day; so, I made breakfast around 9:30 A.M. I had an egg with toast and sausage. After breakfast, I went back up to my room.

I spent most of the day sitting in my recliner. My brain would not work at all. So, I decided to relax in my room.

At lunch time, I heated up some leftover pizza. Once I had gotten my pizza heated up, I went back up to my room. Bro. Ruckman texted me and said he and Mrs. Angie would be home at 3:30 P.M. or so. I was able to rest pretty much all day. Once they got home, we got all of their stuff inside; then, we all stayed in our rooms for another good while.

I went outside at 5:45 P.M. to enjoy the cool evening. Bro. Ruckman came outside at 6:00 or so to start grilling supper. We had chicken breasts for supper along with green beans and toast. The chicken tasted good, but it had a weird taste. It sort of tasted like the smell of the store they were bought from.

After supper, we watched a movie in the living room for a little while. It is currently 9:23 P.M. I still need to take a shower and do my Fante homework. The Fante homework may have to wait until tomorrow morning. I did get about an hour and a half of Bible Institute studying in because we are going to be doing Bible Institute on Thursdays and Saturdays instead of Tuesdays and Saturdays. So, that makes tomorrow really busy. We will be going to the work site at Kojokrom early tomorrow morning. Then we will have Fante class followed by Bible Institute. I do not know if I am going to make it through the day, but I am going to try.

We did not go to church this evening because Mrs. Angie needs to be able to keep her wound clean and dry. She would not have been able to do either because of all the curious kids and the hot Sunday School rooms. I also stayed home because I am still not feeling too great. I need as much rest as possible to make it through tomorrow.

  1. It is good to rest and let your body do the healing. I have been down and resting today too. Praying for you!
