This morning, I woke up, read my Bible, and got ready for the day. I studied for Bible Institute for a few minutes and then went downstairs. After two muffins for breakfast, I worked on my Fante homework. We had Fante lessons today because tomorrow we are going to the Kojokrom work site, having Bible Institute at 1:00 P.M., and then starting missions conference at 7:00 P.M.
Our Fante class went well, and we were able to learn about adjectives and prepositions in class today. After class, the Kenneys stayed at the house for a little while and talked with the Trianos. Once the Kenneys left, the Trianos also left. Today is the twin Triano boys’ birthdays; they turned 14 today. Once they had left, we ate a light lunch; then, I went up to my room and stayed there until 5:00 P.M. or so. I think I just needed a break from everything.
We left the house around 6:30 P.M. for night two of the missions conference. We had a good evening service, and we were able to hear from two different missionaries about their ministries. Bro. Triano preached a good message. By the time everything was done and we had left the church, it was 9:36 P.M. When we got home, we celebrated the Triano boys’ birthdays, and then we fellowshipped for a while.
I am now in my room typing the blog. We were able to get the water fixed; so, I am looking forward to a nice hot shower after a very long day. I think culture shock is finally catching up with me. Culture shock can even hit during Missions Conference! I know God is on my side. Pray for the Missions Conference and for strength as we go full speed ahead! Christmas break seems so close yet so far away. : )
After my shower, I am headed to bed. Tomorrow is a new day!

Yes, culture shock and homesickness is real. Guitar or music does help. We will keep praying. It is a real thing that missionaries do have to learn to deal with. What an interesting Missions Conference. We love seeing your pictures. Have a great day tomorrow. We re praying for you!
Praying for you extra while you struggle with homesickness and culture shock. I know how it feels. It’s going to be just fine. 🙏
