Bonjour,

Dan Post called this morning. He had found a house that is for rent in Bassam. He wanted us to come and look at it if we had time. So, we loaded up and drove out there.

The boys stayed at the Posts’ house while Joe and I went with Dan to look at the house. It would need some work, but it is a possibility. Dan is going to keep looking for the next few weeks while we are in the States. Then, we will make a decision when we get back.

We ate lunch with the Posts. They were headed into Abidjan this afternoon; so, Gilbert rode with them, and two of their boys rode with us. Gilbert slept all the way into town.

We stopped at the bulk food store first. Then, we went to a new play place for kids that has just opened. It has several carnival type rides, a big play area, and several restaurants. It was very nice. The boys had a great time playing. Danny was walking all over the place. He even climbed up the slide. (The slides weren’t very slick; the kids had to push themselves down the slides.)

One of the restaurant areas was decorated in oriental decor, but the menu consisted of sandwiches, pizza, and icecream. There was an air conditioned part of the restaurant; we went in there expecting Vietnamese food, but it was Lebanese food instead. It was good.

After supper, the boys played a little longer. Dan took Jennifer and I to a grocery store across the street while Joe stayed with the children.

There were several traffic jams on the way home, but we made it home safely.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny

P.S. If you have missed any of the daily emails or monthly prayer letters, we are now posting them to a website. You can read them by clicking here http://consford.blogless.org ! We hope this keeps every one up to date with the news from Ivory Coast.
