Bonjour,

This morning, Joe needed to go back into Abidjan. We were supposed to take Gilbert’s stool sample to the doctor so that they can find out exactly what is causing the stomach problems. We also needed to get an international vaccination card for Danny. There is only one place that we can get them here.

Matt Litson rode with Joe and Gilbert. They went in search of the vaccination card first. They went several places before they finally found out where they needed to go. Once they found the right place, it didn’t take long at all to get the card. Their next stop was the doctor’s office. Danny already had his yellow fever shot, but it needed to be recorded on that special card to make it offical. Joe dropped off the stool sample and got the doctor’s signature for the yellow fever vaccine. They made a couple more stops to pick up some things that Matt needed.

Danny took a nap while they were gone this morning. I worked on getting the flannelgraph out for the next few lessons.

Just as Danny and I finished lunch, the boys came home. They were hungry too. Joe said that it was really hot in town today. He had a bad headache from getting too hot. Gilbert said, “Take a nap Gilbert. Shut de door.” He was ready for a nap today!

After naps, we went over to the Litson for a little while. Bob and Margie got their vehicle back last night. They went to Bingerville this afternoon. They are so happy to have their vehicle back up and running. We took a walk with Sarah and the girls. Gilbert went back to their house to play while I went home to get supper ready.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny
