Bonjour,

This morning, we headed into Abidjan for our monthly bulk shopping. First, Gilbert had a doctor’s appointment. The doctor prescribed the same medicines as before – one for bacterias and one for parasites. He said that children that age pick up germs easily and that it isn’t unusual for them to have diarrhea often.

Tammy met us after we finished at the doctor. We took her to a couple different stores so that she would know how to get there. Then, she ate lunch with us and headed back to Bingerville. We had a couple more stops to make before heading home.

It was quite hot this morning. Joe told Gilbert that we could set up their little inflatable pool when we got home. Gilbert and Danny both fell asleep on the way home, but Gilbert remembered about the pool as soon as we pulled into the driveway. It was raining when we got home, but it didn’t rain for long.

Gilbert had the hose and was filling the pool. He decided to spray me. He and Danny both climbed out of the pool and chased me with the hose. I was all wet; so, I just went ahead and sat down in the pool with them. We had fun.

Before supper, we took some things over to the Litsons that they had asked us to pick up at one of the bulk stores. Gilbert played with the girls for a little while. I tried to keep Danny out of the dirt since we had already had baths, but I wasn’t too successful.

Everyone is tired tonight and ready for bed.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny
