Bonjour, Ashely!

Comment ca va? Hey, how’s it going? It probably seems a bit overwhelming at first, but it will come eventually!

The boys are both doing well. Gilbert is talking up a storm. We have to be careful what he watches and hears because he repeats everything! Danny is trying to walk and just started clapping a couple days ago.

Gilbert had a mango worm in his foot. Joe performed “surgery” to remove the worm. Gilbert did not like that at all. The next morning, Joe needed to look at Gilbert’s foot. He said, “Gilbert, let me see your foot.” Gilbert said, “No thanks!” He didn’t want to go through that business again! He’s no dummy!

Brother Eddie Grimes forwarded your most recent prayer letter to us. It sounds like you are getting settled in there in Albertville. It is so beautiful there!

Joe says, “It’s a conspiracy! When you first arrive there, people talk so fast where you can’t understand them. Then, they eventually slow down a little where you can understand them!” That’s how it seems!

Do they still have Wednesdays off? That made it nice. By Wednesday, your brain needs a rest to let everything soak in a little!

Is Sara Bascue in your class? How is she doing?

I talked to Sharon on Saturday. They are doing well. Cole started working for Mr. Rooter recently. A man in their church owns the business. Cole likes that a lot more than working at Dillards. Sharon is teaching full time and still working part time at Dillards for a little while longer. So, they are staying busy.

Emily is not teaching this year. She and David are praying about what to do. He would like to go work in a church somewhere.

Amy is teaching English and Music in the college. Aaron is still in college. So, they are busy as well.

Tony just got voted in as pastor in the church in Idaho where he had been an associate pastor. So that will be good.

My parents just celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary. They told me that they are starting to feel old.

I just wanted to let you know that we are thinking about you.

Love,

Laura
