Bonjour,
This morning, Max, the national pastor, called. He was supposed to take Jeanette’s deaf school students into Abidjan today. He wanted Joe to take them, but he had forgotten to ask him. Joe told him that he could do it. They were going to go to the zoo and a couple other places. So, Gilbert went too.
Gilbert loved the zoo. We had never been to the zoo here before. Joe said that it was nothing spectacular, but Gilbert thought it was great! Joe took the video camera. Gilbert can be heard in the background asking, “What’s that, Daddy?”
After they went to the zoo, they went to the mall. A couple of the children had never been outside of Anyama before. They got sick riding the escalator. Then, they went to a tall building downtwon. They got sick riding the elevator too.

Danny took a nap this morning, and I did some housework. The Litson girls came over to play after lunch. Gilbert and Joe got home while they were over here. Gilbert enjoyed playing with them before he took his nap.
Gilbert was telling me all about the animals. He had to demonstrate how the monkey jumped around and threw a bottle.
After naps and supper, we went over to the Litsons’ house for a little bit. The kids played outside until it got dark.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny
