Bonjour,

This morning, Joe met with Bob and Matt. After the meeting, Joe waited for the landlord to come so that we could pay our rent. He lives in a village; so, he comes once every six months to get the rent. We don’t have to pay much rent because he is still paying us back for all of the money that we put into finishing the house. We just pay him enough to pay the taxes on the property.

The doctor couldn’t fit the boys in today. So, we have an appointment for tomorrow morning to get their shots. The doctor doesn’t have the shots at his office. We have to get the shots at the pharmacy and then take them with us to the doctor’s office. Joe had ordered the shots at a pharmacy in Anyama. So, Joe and Gilbert went to pick those up.

When the boys got back, we all headed into Abidjan. We needed to do our monthly bulk store shopping.

Our computer has been suddenly turning off; so, we took it back to the place where we bought it. The fan had gone out; they replaced that for no charge since we’ve only had the computer for about a month.

Then, we tried a new restaurant for lunch. They have a Mexican food section on their menu. Joe and I both had a chicken enchilada; it was delicious! Gilbert had pizza. One of the waitresses held Danny while I ate.

>From there, we went to the bulk stores. The first store didn’t have diapers and juice today. So, we went to the second one and found a better deal on diapers there.

We went back to check on the computer. It wasn’t quite ready yet. So, we went to a hotel to make reservations for next week. Lenell Smith is flying in at 1:30 on Tuesday morning. Joe and I will meet her at the airport. We are spending the night at a hotel because the roads to get to our house are closed at that time of night.

The computer man hadn’t called yet. So, we stopped at a store that we had passed. It had a little bit of everything – dishes, toys, tools, etc. We had fun looking around in there.

After we picked up the computer, we stopped to get a pizza to take home. The Posts and the Machs were at the pizza place; so, we stayed and ate pizza with them. We had a good time of fellowship.

We got home around 19:00. We are all tired. Everyone should sleep well tonight! The boys didn’t get much of a nap; they both fell asleep for a few minutes in the car.

A demain,

Joe, Laura, Gilbert, and Danny
