Bonjour,
This morning, Joe left at 6:30 to go give a devotional at one of the
banks in town. Charlie usually does it every Thursday, but he is in
Accra. So, he asked Joe to do it. After that, the Posts met Joe in
town. He showed them where some things were. He got home in time for
lunch.
The kids slept past 7:00 today; that is sleeping in for them. Bonnie
came into our bed after Joe got up this morning. When she woke up the
second time, she hit her leg on the bed frame and scraped it all the way
down. She needed a band-aid. It was too big for a band-aid. So, we
had to do a makeshift one. She was happy with it though.
We did school today. The boys did better today. Today it was Bonnie's
turn to have a bad morning; she kept crying over every little thing.

After lunch, we took naps. Gilbert hasn't been going to sleep. He
usually gets up after Bonnie and Danny go to sleep. Today, he came out
and said, "Dad, I've decided to take a nap today. Can you wake me up at
3:00 to go up the Luthers' house?" At 3:00, Joe shook Gilbert, and he
wouldn't wake up. He tried again at 3:30, and he woke up that time.
The kids went up to play with the Luther kids. Bonnie was happy to
report that nobody hit anyone today.
At supper time, Joe looked at the thermometer, and it was 96 degrees in
the kitchen. No wonder I couldn't quit sweating. After supper, we
watched a movie and ate popcorn. We turned the AC on in the living
room; after running for three hours, it is now only 91 degrees in the
kitchen.
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
