W'apow mu e,
This morning, Bonnie came up to me with a pencil in her hand and said, "Mom, Danny said that this thing at the end is not an eraser." I asked Danny about it. He said, "Well, it is supposed to erase, but instead it just makes black marks on your paper." I guess he knows which pencils' erasers don't work. : )
We had a good day at church. Brother Evans Benyah and the people form his church in Inchaban came to our church this morning; he had several people in his church that needed to be baptized.
Ordeth helped me during Sunday School today. She is going to trade off with Sunday School and Junior Church every other week so that she can be in some of the morning services as well. We had all of the kids and teenagers for Sunday School; there were over fifty in there.
I didn't have a helper during junior church. I had about thirty kids who were seven and under. There were several older children who were standing by the window outside. I told them to go to the auditorium, but they weren't going. I left Gilbert in charge of leading a song while I went outside to chase those other kids. Evans preached today during the morning service. So, Joe had heard the commotion and came outside. He got those kids to go into the auditorium. Then, he came down to check on my class. Most of the children were not participating in the singing. Joe stepped inside, and a great transformation took place. Those kids sang every song and acted like little angels while he was in there. My little friend Godfred, who is about 18 months old today, was not cooperating for his sister. I held him, and he fell asleep. I ended up putting him down on the floor so that I could teach the lesson.

Julieanna and Francis, two of our church people, got baptized today. Julieanna used to attend the church before we came, but Joe just found her a couple months ago while out visiting. She got saved and has been attending regularly. Francis is a teenager who coaches a soccer team. His whole soccer team came to church a while back. Five people from the church in Inchaban got baptized too. Joe let Evans do the baptizing since several of the people were from his church.
After the baptisms, Harriett, a lady who Bonnie really likes, picked Bonnie up and acted like she was going to drop her in the baptistry. Bonnie started screaming and crying. After Bonnie settled down, she said that she was crying because she didn't want her new dress to get wet. (Yesterday, we went through a bag of clothes that are in the next size. One of the dresses was still a little big, but Bonnie was so excited about wearing it today.)
We had a good service this evening as well with twenty-one in attendance.
