Bonjour,
This morning, we went into town to get Bonnie’s Yellow Fever shot. You can’t get one until after 9 months of age. We got to town with no problems, and we made it to the doctor’s office 30 minutes before the appointment.
On the way through the shopping center to the doctor’s office, Laura saw some tiny little bags that have a handle and wheels. The boys are always wanting to pull our carry on bags in the airport, but they are always too heavy for the boys to pull. So, we got them both their own carry on bag. They have been talking to each other all day about all of the great stuff they are going to put in their bags. Needless to say, we will have to inspect their bags very carfully before going through a security checkpoint. They were a lot of fun to watch as they dragged their bags through the shopping center and up and down the four flights of stairs to the doctor’s office.
After Bonnie got her shots, we got a couple of items at the grocery store and then went to lunch. Our car battery died in the grocery store parking lot. We had to have someone give us a jump start.
This week has been extremely hot! It has been over 104 in the shade every day with a heat index of 118. Wow!

After lunch, we went by the paint shop to check on my new car. They are making progress already, and it is looking better and better each day.
Both boys fell asleep in the car on the way home! Laura got too hot today, and she stayed home from church since she was not feeling well. Lenell came over after she taught her girls’ club to help Laura take care of Bonnie.
We had 44 in church this evening, and Romeo preached a good sermon on Jeremiah. The boys were very good in church. I was very proud of them.
Have a great day!
A demain,
Joe, Laura, Gilbert, Danny, and Bonnie
