Bonjour,

This morning, we all got up and had a lot of fun with Nana helping us get the boys ready for church. Nana has had many years of experience with a certain boy just like these two.  She knows just what to do for them!  It has been lots of fun watching her play with the kids.

Church went very well this morning.  The church people were sad to see us go, but everything was upbeat and encouraging.  We will sure miss the people here.

We ate lunch at Lenell’s house after church.  She grilled pork chops and the boys ate them up.  We had a good time of fellowship.

Then we came home to take a nap.  Nana and Gilbert went right to sleep.  Laura tried to get Bonnie to sleep and as soon as Bonnie went down then Danny woke up.

It was hot today.  It was well over 105 in the shade and no wind.   Nana and Laura stayed home this evening with the kids because they were all wiped out by the heat.

I went to church in Anyama so that I could say good by to the people there.  We have so many good friends here.

We ate supper at Bob and Margie’s.   We just kept talking and kept talking  and did not even realize that we finished supper at 21:00.  The kids all let us know that it was bed time!  So, we all came home and everyone crashed like we had had a hot and busy day.

Tomorrow, we have some final things to wrap up and then we will leave here at about 16:00 to head to the air port.  We will try to send a final e-mail from Africa before we leave.

A demain,

Joe, Laura ,Gilbert, Danny and Bonnie
